Professional Development & CPD

Publish A Paper

This course is designed for individuals who want to learn about the submission and publication process for academic papers.

It covers a wide range of topics, including developing a research question, the structure needed to produce a paper, appropriate research methodology, writing an effective abstract and introduction, presenting empirical data, and understanding different referencing systems required.

Students are encouraged to produce work systematically, and feedback and guidance is given on all drafts in terms of the structure and content that has been written.  Students will produce a paper that is approximately 3,000 - 5,000 words in length by the end of the course.

The paper is then proofread and copy edited to publication level by MKLC Training so that it is ready to be submitted to an academic journal.
