Welcome to 2019!

We know that many of you will have taken the opportunity to spend time with loved ones, and that time away from work also gave some MKLC students motivation to finish their online courses - Judith was marking on Christmas Day, as one motivated learner was producing work every day over the holidays.

New Courses

 We have been designing new courses, and hope to have those up soon, so stay tuned as we will be announcing these as they become live. Remember, all previous MKLC student do receive a discount on their next course with MKLC Training, so be sure to ask when enrolling to make sure this is credited to you.

Award in Education & Training (AET)

The next AET group is 10 – 17 January, and there are already 12 enrolled but we expect some more will come through yet.

EV Visits

We have had requests for external verification visits in February from both Pearson and TQUK. As part of their verification process they ask for samples of student work, and to speak to those students to ask them about their learning experience. Once we have dates confirmed, we will be in touch with those students to check availability and timings.

QTLS

 The QTLS applications need to be made by the end of January as there will be no more windows now until October. We believe that going forward they will just have the one application window in future. Any students wanting to apply would need to complete their DET before the middle of January to give time for the certificate to arrive. If you have any queries, please get in touch with your tutor to check your status and course progression.
