The same candidates can be used for both units. Assessments in the workplace may include annual reviews and appraisals. Assessments in the classroom may include diagnostic testing.
Online with dedicated tutor support. Students can work through the course at their own pace, and submit assignments online for assessment and feedback.
All materials are available online and students are required to take part in discussion topics to show knowledge and understanding.

No, you can be an assessor without being a teacher
+ Which unit do I require?
Everybody needs unit 1 (theory), you then require unit 2 if assessing in the workplace, this is assessments which are not simulated and carried out in a real workplace, often assessed through observations or witness testimonies, unit 3 is if assessing in the classroom or a simulated environment.
+ Do I need to be observed carrying out the observations?
Yes, the person assessing requires their Assessor and IQA qualification and would need to provide evidence and sign declaration, if you do not have someone, there is an option to come to Milton Keynes for observation.
+ Does it matter which qualifications I assess on?
No as long as they are criteria based
