Welcome to 2019! We know that many of you will have taken the opportunity to spend time with loved ones, and that time away from work also gave some MKLC students motivation to finish their online courses!
On Tuesday Judith attended a conference at the Institute of Education in London. One interesting take-away was that although 6 of the fastest growing economies are in Africa, their universities are poor at producing knowledge as they have low research resources.
These Action Research papers are based on real-life studies and reflect on current practices and how to improve them. Each student comes from a different background and industry, and this week is no exception, with four diverse and interesting papers:
Over the years, as qualifications are updated to reflect the change in industry requirements, they also undergo a change in name to help differentiate from the older qualification. The Assessor Award - aka A1 Assessor Award, D32 / D33, and the 6317 (through City & Guilds) is one such qualification.
You may think we are jumping the gun by announcing 2018 dates for our online AET courses when we've only just started the new academic year, but we already have students looking ahead and booking onto these courses!
