This course has given me insight into the requirements for teaching English to foreign learners. It has taught me the importance of using a structured, co-ordinated approach whilst teaching English. Although I do have experience in teaching, I have always taught students who are very fluent in the language. Hence, understanding the other side - what the requirements for a non- English speaker are, has been a unique learning experience. I believe that the course has prepared me to take a positive step towards beginning to teach English to speakers of other languages. Overall, this has been a great learning experience!
